We supply custom China Online Research Reports: these are done to order and include investigating current China “Top 5” competitors and their online KPIs, including traffic, sales, PPC/SEM, communication platforms and tools. These reports can be ordered separately and are strongly advised for all China “newcomers” to “learn the China playing field.” These assist clients clarify China online market expectations, and indicate performance benchmarks for those needing to “get engaged.
Our core ChinaSEO service is provided 3 months/ quarterly /
We consult to client Sales/Marketing Management and work with their digital/IT teams to serve clients with our specialist ChinaSEO and SEM/PPC “active market engagement” campaigns.
For those not-yet “behind the great firewall “we also handle client Baidu account opening and China Search Engine application and paperwork. Please allow 2-3 weeks for applications to be processed and account opened.
To clarify two common Q’s:
- in China engaging in SEM/PPC (paid clicks) is not-compulsory, approx. 50% of our clients at any given time are not-engaged in PPC and are happy with SEO.
- A “.CN” a “your brand.cn” domain name or hosting inside China is also not-compulsory (*only strongly advised if you are doing e-commerce). Your own local brand URL e.g.: “china.yourbrand.com.au” or “yourbrand.com.au/cn” are OK to register with China SE’s.
Good page SEO does matter for the Baidu algorithm, and we always advise clients to use SEM/PPC campaigns in conjunction with ePR and further activities in key target times during the year.
PPC prices are market driven, and can swing greatly in less than month (we regularly see a +/- of 500% over 30 days for a single “hot key word”) so it pays to manage campaigns according to client KPI’s and ROI goals.
