› CNNIC

China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), the state network information center of China, was founded as a non-profit organization on Jun. 3rd 1997. CNNIC takes orders from the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) to conduct daily business, while it was administratively operated by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Computer Network Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences takes the responsibility of running and administrating CNNIC. CNNIC Steering Committee, a working group composed of well-known experts and commercial representatives in domestic Internet community supervises and evaluates the structure, operation and administration of CNNIC.

Founded on June 10, 2004, China Internet Illegal Information Reporting Centre (CIIRC) is sponsored by the Internet Information Service Commission of the Internet Society of China, a non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. CIIRC is supported by the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China.

› Internet Society of China (ISC)

Internet Society of China (ISC) was inaugurated on 25th May, 2001. ISC was sponsored by more than 70 sponsors, which include network access carriers, ISPs, facility manufacturers and research institutes etc. The current Chairman is Madam Hu Qiheng, the vice-president of CAST(China Association for Science and Technology), Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. The office of ISC is located in Beijing.

› Anti-Spam Center of ISC

Anti-Spam Committee is an affiliated organization of ISC based on "Anti-Spam Coordination Team of ISC". The committee is a non-profit civil society set up by ESPs, ISPs, relevant organizations, government sectors as well as research institutions with aim of promoting the development of email service industry. The Committee has 82 organizational parties and 89 individual members respectively. The Committee aims to work together with email service enterprises, civil societies and government sectors on anti-Spam. The main function is to organize formulation of email service standards and regulations; protect the interests of the whole industry and legal rights of email users; launch multilevel international and regional anti-Spam exchange and cooperation; improve the management and quality of email service and promote the healthy development of the industry.
